Huskies Set to Face Holy Cross in Home and Home Series

STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut women's ice hockey team is set for the final two games of the regular season with a home and home series against Holy Cross on Friday, Feb. 17 and Sunday, Feb. 19. Â
The first game will be played in Storrs at the Toscano Family Ice Forum and the second in Worcester, MA at the Hart Center. The seniors will be recognized and honored on Friday at their final regular season home game.Â
Heading into the matchups, UConn is posting a 16-12-4 overall record and a 10-11-4 Hockey East record. The Huskies are coming off a 2-1 setback against Holy Cross last Saturday and have been winless since January 20 going 0-4-2. Â
Jada Habisch remains the leading scorer for the Huskies this season with 11 goals. Coryn Tormala also added to her scoring total with her eighth goal against Holy Cross. Â
Scouting the CrusadersÂ
Entering the matchup, Holy Cross stands at 7-23-1 overall and 6-19-0 in Hockey East action. The Crusaders took a 2-1 win against UConn in the first three game series matchup. Leading the way were Carly Beniek and Charlotte Sonntag as they would share a goal each last Saturday. Goaltender Madison Beck also recorded 31 saves. Â
Puck drop for both games this weekend are scheduled for 6 p.m. EST and both games can be streamed live on ESPN+.Â
