MSOC set for two matchups over the weekend

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's soccer team (1-0) will welcome the LIU Sharks (1-1) to Morrone Stadium on Friday, September 1 at 7:00pm. The Huskies will return to action on Monday, September 4 at 7:00pm against Siena (0-2). The games will be streamed on UConn+. Tickets are available HERE.
The Huskies are coming off their first win of the season last Friday over Holy Cross. UConn had four different goal scorers in Eli Conway, Adil Iggoute, Scott Testori, and Pierce Bateson. Conway and Testori both had three each last season for the Huskies. UConn as a team ranks third in the BIG EAST in goals scored.
LIU enters Friday's match 1-1, coming off a loss at Monmouth on Monday night. This will be the first all-time meeting between the Huskies and the Sharks.
Siena is 0-2 so far in the young season, coming off a loss against Sacred Heart. This will also be the first all-time meeting between the two programs.
