At UConn: Selected as 2015-16 All-Conference swimmer in junior season...Took third in 200-backstroke on Day Four of AAC Championships...Part of 200-medley relay team that placed first in Dartmouth meet...Took second in 100-backstroke at Copa Coqui Invitational...Won 100-backstroke and second in 200-backstroke at Rutgers Quad Meet...Posted another solid season as a sophomore, earning All-Conference honors once again…Finished third (1:58.98) in the 200-yard backstroke final and sixth (55.78) in the 100-yard backstroke at the 2015 Conference Meet…Won two individual championships (100 and 200-meter breaststroke) at the 2015 Norwegian Nationals…Carries one of the better work ethics on the team...Put up some good times at the conference meet as a freshman, and won multiple backstroke events at the 2014 Norwegian Nationals...Named the American Athletic Conference Female Swimmer of the Week (Feb. 4) as a freshman after winning all four backstroke events in UConn’s meet against Colgate (Feb. 2).

Achievements: Was the Norwegian Champion in the 2011 Long Course Meters 200 backstroke... Finished second in the LCM 200 backstroke in 2013... Holds the Norwegian record in the long and short course 4 x 100 IM relay... Won the championship record in the long course 4 x 200-Meter.

Personal: Born Nov. 7, 1993... Daughter of Frank and Annette Pederson... Has two sisters, Malene (17) and Silje (14)... Business Management Major.
