Huskies Finish with Another Strong Result at Battle in Beantown

BOSTON – The University of Connecticut women's cross country team ran another strong race this season at the Battle in Beantown at Franklin Park Friday afternoon.
In the women's 5k race, the Huskies finished fifth overall among 16 competing teams with a scoring order of 7-10-24-39-46=126.
Individually, Chloe Thomas earned a personal best time of 17:15.4 and finished the highest for the Huskies taking seventh place. Jenna Zydanowicz also helped the Huskies with a second top 10 result running a time of 17:27.8. That is Thomas's and Zydanowicz's second top 10 finish of the season.
The Huskies next compete at the Arturo Barrios Invite on Friday, Oct. 13 in College Station, Texas.
