Thomas, Zydanowicz and Webb Compete in Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in Boston

STORRS, Conn.-Â UConn Track & Field will send three distance runners to compete at the Sharon Colyear- Danville Season Opener on Saturday, hosted by Boston University.Â
After a historic cross country season in the fall, Chloe Thomas will make her indoor track season debut in the 5000M, competing against the best distance runners in the nation, including NCAA cross country champion Doris Lemngole from Alabama. Thomas will be joined by all-region teammate Jenna Zydanowicz, and Caroline Webb, all making their indoor track debuts.Â

Thomas qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track National Championships in the 5000M last season, where she finished 12th and set a personal best in the event with a time of 15:34. Thomas, Zydanowicz, and Webb will toe the line at 4:45 pm in Boston.Â
