Huskies Set to Face UMass Wednesday at Home

STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut women's tennis team faces UMass at home at Magic Lincer Tennis Club in Manchester, Conn., on Wednesday, April 3.
The Huskies enter the matchup with a 9-6 overall record. Last time out, UConn shutout Providence 7-0 back on Friday, March 22. Leading the way for the Huskies all season has been first year Caroline Hinshaw with a 9-6 singles record (team-high), and 9-6 doubles record with junior teammate Isabel Petri Bere.
Scouting UMass
Heading into the matchup, the Minutewomen are 8-6 overall. Last time out, UMass fell to Harvard 4-1 back on Saturday, March 30. Leading the way is Danielle Hack with the best singles record on the team going 8-3 at the first singles position and then an 8-5 doubles record with Thamonpan Jonglertrakul.
UConn faced UMass last season winning in a tight 4-3 win. The Huskies are 2-11 in all-time matchups. This home match will be the second to last one of the season.
