Cross Country Races at Paul Short Run

STORRS, Conn.- UConn women's cross country returns to action on Friday morning, competing in the 51st Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The Huskies posted a strong showing last season at the Paul Short, finishing 2nd as a team. UConn placed three runners in the top 10, led by individual winner Chloe Thomas, who set a course record with a time of 19:23.8.
Hear from Head Coach Beth Alford-Sullivan:
"The squad is prepared for a whole team effort to test themselves at the full competition distance of 6000m. We are excited to compete against conference and regional contenders. We had a great race here last season, led by a course record of then-senior Chloe Thomas, and we are looking forward to a great race on Friday!"
