UConn to Host 2025 Nutmeg Classic

STORRS, Conn. – UConn is set to host the annual Nutmeg Classic from November 28-29, 2025, at the Toscano Family Ice Forum in Storrs. The tournament features four premier programs in women's college hockey, Quinnipiac, Yale, and Sacred Heart, and UConn.

The round-robin tournament format sees UConn facing off against Quinnipiac in a nationally ranked contest in the first semifinal game on November 28 at 3:00pm. Sacred Heart and Yale will follow at the conclusion of game one, set to begin at 6:30pm. The winner from each semifinal will advance to the championship game on November 29 at 6:30pm, while the two losing teams will play in the third-place game beginning at 3:00pm. All games will be streamed on ESPN+.
