Huskies Hit the Road to Open 2025-26 Season

STORRS, Conn.—UConn swimming and diving kicks off their 2025-26 season tomorrow afternoon, traveling to West Point, New York to compete against host Army, Maristand Central Connecticut State. The meet will kick off at 4:45pm at Crandall Pool.
Last season, the Huskies finished 7-2-1 on the season, finishing 2nd at the BIG EAST Championships. UConn returns a strong veteran presence on the team, led by OliviaDenery, Kate Cooper, Kiera Liesinger, Lexi Martino and Sydney Perkins.
The Huskies welcome six new athletes to the 2025-26 team. The Huskies will look to replace Maggie Donlevy, Niamh Hofland, Amelia Schaefer and Kayla Mendonca in the pool along with Julia Pioso in diving.
UConn achieved early success last season, winning their season opener in Storrs against SCSU and Sacred Heart. UConn last matched up against Army on November 2nd, 2019, defeating the Black Knights in Storrs 212-98.
