STORRS, Conn. - UConn lacrosse head coach Katie Woods has announced the addition of Allie Zorn as assistant coach, pending the successful completion of the university's employee onboarding process.
Zorn joins UConn following a standout four-year career at Tufts University, where she helped lead the Jumbos to a 2025 NESCAC Championship and NCAA Division III runner-up finish. A two-time All-American, Zorn earned both USA Lacrosse and IWLCA All-American First Team honors during her career while establishing herself among the top offensive players in Tufts history.
Zorn finished her career second all-time at Tufts in both goals and points and third all-time in assists.
Head Coach Katie Woods expressed enthusiasm about what Zorn will add to the program.
"We are so excited to welcome Allie to our staff and our program. She brings great energy, a drive to compete and win, and a passion for coaching."
In addition to her collegiate playing career, Zorn has extensive coaching experience. She has served as a lacrosse coach and private coach with Bay State Bullets Lacrosse, working with summer youth teams, leading practices and skills clinics, and providing individualized one-on-one and small-group training.
At Tufts, Zorn also took on leadership roles within the campus community. She was involved with Morgan's Message, serving as co-president and social media coordinator, helping expand access to mental health resources for student-athletes.
Zorn graduated from Tufts University in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Sociology, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
