Student Basketball Tickets
Advance Ticket Claim for UConn Students
During the 2025-26 men's and women's basketball seasons, UConn students will be required to claim tickets in advance.
The advance ticket claim process simply requires UConn students (of all campuses) to go online and claim a ticket during the designated claim period, which is outlined below. Students will be able to claim tickets beginning at 10:00 p.m. on the first day of each claim period.
There is no charge to claim tickets and UConn athletics reserves the right to put unclaimed tickets for sale to the general public after the claim period ends.
Students should note that a claimed ticket guarantees admission UP UNTIL TIP-OFF of the associated game.
Students should enter through the North Entrance of Gampel Pavilion and via the main atrium, on Trumbull Street, of PeoplesBank Arena.
** If any tickets remain after the official claim period has ended, the game will remain open to claiming tickets online **
Reminder
UConn students help us create the best home court advantage in the country. However, when students claim tickets and don’t show up, it hurts other students and our teams. If you claim a ticket, we need you to be in the arena cheering loud for the Huskies. Students who claim but repeatedly don’t attend may have their claim privileges revoked. Student tickets are for personal use only and are ineligible for transfer. Ticket claim privileges may be revoked if tickets are found listed on a secondary market site. Thank you for your understanding and for being such an important part of the “Basketball Capital of the World.”
Tap and Go Technology
"Tap and Go Technology" will be utilized for all basketball student tickets this season. Simply have your ticket pre-loaded into your Apple or Google Wallet. When you approach the entrance, have your phone out and you will simply tap your phone against the scanner. No more concerns with cracked screens, sunlight, or phone brightness levels.
As a result, barcodes will no longer be used for student ticketing. Students MUST have the ticket downloaded into their wallet to gain access to the venue. Students tickets are for personal use only and are ineligible for transfer.
Mobile Ticket Delivery
Students will receive a confirmation email should they successfully claim a ticket. Students will be able to download their mobile ticket approximately 48 hours before the event by visiting UConnHuskies.com/myaccount.
GOOD TO KNOW
- To claim a ticket, UConn students simply log in to their student account at UConnTickets.com.
- Click "Find Tickets" from the list of events
- Increase quantity to 1, then click "Add to Cart"
- Click green "Checkout" button
- Click "Place Your Order" (claim is not complete until place your order has been clicked)
- Students will need to know their UConn email address or Peoplesoft ID and password.
- Students may only claim 1 (one) ticket.
- Claim periods will begin on the designated date at 10:00 p.m. and close on the designated date at 11:59 p.m.
- Tickets will be delivered via Mobile Delivery approximately 48 hours before tip-off and can be presented on mobile device for entry.
- Undergraduate, graduate and transfer students at any UConn campus (Storrs, Hartford, Avery Point, Stamford or Waterbury), as well as School of Law and UConn Health (School of Medicine and School of Dental) can claim a ticket.
- Students must be enrolled for the Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 semester (pending date of game) to claim a ticket.
- Students must show their valid UConn Student ID with their ticket for entry into the arena (Gampel Pavilion and PeoplesBank Arena).

Bus Transportation to PeoplesBank Arena
Basketball Roadshows provide roundtrip transportation from the Storrs campus to PeoplesBank Arena, courtesy of SUBOG & Student Activities. All basketball roadshow tickets are FREE for UConn students. Tickets can be picked up at the Student Union Information Center. Tickets must be picked up at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled game time. Bus tickets are limited and are first-come, first-served until all available tickets are distributed. Roadshow bus tickets do not provide admission to the game. All buses leave UConn from the Student Union at the same time, ninety (90) minutes before the start of the game. All buses will depart from PeoplesBank Arena, 20 minutes following the conclusion of the game. For more info, please visit https://studentactivities.uconn.edu.
