AS A SENIOR (2019): Started all 17 games at midfield…Registered career-high 10 goals and two assists for 12 points…Five-game point streak from Feb. 24-March 19…Set new career-high with 40 draw controls…Scored season-high two goals at UNH (Feb. 2)…Recorded multi-point efforts, including one goal and an assist in the 17-7 win at ECU…Scooped up 20 ground balls, including three against UNH (Feb. 2) and Vanderbilt (April 14).

AS A JUNIOR (2018): Started all 17 games played … picked up a career high five goals and seven assists for a personal best 12 points … recorded career bests in draw controls (29), ground balls (21) and caused turnovers (10) … one four occasions tallied a personal best two points … scored a season-best two goals in an overtime win against Vanderbilt (Apr. 22) … scooped up a team- and career-high five ground balls in a win against UAlbany (Mar. 7).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2017): Saw action in 15 games, making five starts … added a career-high four tallies and four helpers for eight points … fourth on the team with 18 draw controls … recorded 11 ground balls … forced one caused turnover … posted her first career point with an assist against Boston College (Feb. 22) … tallied her first career goal and first multi-goal game against Florida (March 18).

AS A FRESHMAN (2016): Appeared in three contests.

Before UConn: Was a four year starter at Loomis Chaffee in Windsor, Conn….helped Loomis Chaffee to the 2015 Western New England Championship title…made First Team All-American in 2015..served as captain her senior year…was voted MVP in 2015…was the recipient of Loomis Chaffee Barbera Erickson Senior Athlete Award in 2015…earned New England All-Star honors in 2013 and 2014…contributed to founders league in 2013-15…earned four varsity letters for soccer and also served as captain for that squad her senior year.

Personal: Anna Marie Costello…born September of 1996…daughter of John and Leslie Costello…has two younger brothers, Jack and Tommy…is a pre-teaching major at UConn.
