As a Senior (2023): Named Captain. Played in 12 games for the Huskies, starting in all 12. Posted one assist and three shots. Missed the last six games due to injury.
As a Junior (2022): Started in all 18 games. Scored game-winning goal in double OT victory against conference rival ODU (9/16). Recorded one assist on the season.
As a Sophomore (2021 Fall): Started all 22 matches in the back for the Huskies. Recorded one assist on the season and helped the UConn defense secure seven shutouts. Scored game-winning goal in shootout victory against No. 13 Harvard (9/19).
As a Freshman (2021 Spring): Started in all 14 matches during her freshman campaign. Tallied two goals and was third on the team with six assists. Grabbed her first point with an assist against Liberty (3/13). Posted a pair of assists against Quinnipiac (3/18). Scored first career goal and registered a career-high four points against Villanova (4/3). Notched a goal against Old Dominion (4/24) in the BIG EAST Championship game.
Before UConn. Young is a two-time Pennsylvania First Team All-State performer while earning PAC 10 All-Conference honors all four years. Young helped lead Upper Perkiomen to its first PAC-10 championship since 2013 during her senior season. She finished her career totaling 57 goals and 52 assists.
