David Harris is entering his first season as the Assistant Director of Football Operations for the UConn football team, after serving five years as a recruiting assistant. Prior to arriving in Storrs; Harris spent the 2016 season with the South Dakota State Jackrabbits. Â
While on staff at South Dakota State he worked as a Recruiting and Operations Assistant. The 2016 season marked South Dakota States’ first conference championship at the FCS level. While attending The University of Iowa as an undergrad he served as a Recruiting Assistant for the Iowa Football Team from 2011 until 2015.
He also completed an internship with the Houston Rockets in the summer of 2010 as a Basketball Operations Intern. Harris graduated from The University of Iowa in 2015 with bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Sport and Recreation Management along with an Entrepreneurial Management Certificate.
