Before UConn: Finished his high school career playing for head coach Greg Colgano at Saint Francis high school in California. As a senior helped lead Saint Francis to an 11-3 overall record which included a West Catholic League Title… Garnered All-West Catholic league honors during his senior campaign. Following his high school career Pohahau committed to the University of Colorado where he would redshirt for the year.
