2011-2012 (Freshman Season): Played in 16 games...Registered three points on one goal and two assists...Scored his first career goal in a 4-3 loss at Air Force in the AHA Quarterfinals (March 9)...Recorded assists against Niagara (Jan. 6) and Canisius (March 3).
Before UConn: Played for the St. Louis Bandits of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) along with classmate Tom Comunale...Finished the year with 18 goals and 31 assists for 49 points as well as a plus-15 rating...Recorded 88 career points in two seasons with St. Louis...Was featured at the NAHL Top Prospects Showcase....An Honor Roll student at Ursuline High in Youngstown, Ohio.
