2024-25: In his first season with the Huskies, Heaney appeared in three games vs. no.1 Boston College, no.2 Boston University and the University of Wisconsin. Heaney recorded his first career win vs. No.1 Boston College.

Comes to UConn following a two-year stint in the NAHL with the Maine Nordiques… Appeared in 63 total games posting a 29-24-5 overall record. In his final season with the Nordiques, Heaney posted a 14-11-4 overall record with 3.36 goals against average and a .900 save percentage. Prior to his time in the NAHL, Heaney spent 15 games with the Omaha Lancers of the USHL where he posted a 7-4 overall record with 3.5 goals against average and a .865 save percentage.
