2022 Season: Pitched in 16 games and made six starts for the Huskies in his lone season in Storrs. Went 3-1 with a 2.89 ERA in 43.2 innings. Pitched 2.0 innings and gave up zero earned runs against Hartford (3/8). Fired a scoreless innings at Long Beach State (3/16). Pitched 3.0 shutout innings at UC San Diego (3/20). First career start earned victory with 4.0 shutout innings and career-high seven strikeouts vs. Bryant (3/23). Came out of the pen and earned second win of the season with 5.2 shutout innings against UMass (4/19). Tossed 3.0 scoreless frames in start against Northeastern (5/10). Pitched 5.0 innings and picked up win at Bryant (5/17). Tied season-high with 5.2 innings and allowed just one run at No. 2 Stanford in Game 2 of Super Regionals (6/12).

Grad transfer from Assumption College.

Before UConn:

2021: Appeared in seven games and made six starts. Posted a 2.57 ERA with a 10.29 K/9. In 35.0 innings pitched, struck out 40 while walking only five. Logged a 4-1 record.

*2020: Named NCBWA Second-Team in the Preseason Poll (1/28)... Appeared and started in four games... Earned a 3-0 record... Pitched a total of 27.1 innings with 23 hits, five runs, four walks and 26 strikeouts... Recorded a 0.66 ERA.

2019: Appeared in 14 games with 12 starts for the Hounds... Earned Northeast-10 Third-Team Honors, Pitcher of the Week once and National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Pitcher of the Week once... Finished his season with a 7-3 record along with a 2.54 ERA and 74 strikeouts to only 11 walkings in 85 innings... Those marks put him seventh in most innings pitched in one season and tied for sixth in most games won in one season... Began his season with three straight wins and without walking a batter through his first 21 innings... Earned the win in relief against Merrimack on April 2, only three days after throwing 94 pitches in a start against Bentley... Pitched a complete game shutout in a 1-0 win over Saint Anselm on April 18, giving up only seven hits and walking none while striking out nine... Did not earn a loss in his final six starts... Pitched seven innings in the team's opening round of the East Regionals against nationally ranked Southern N.H. and gave up only two runs on seven hits and three walks through seven innings, leaving with the game tied at two.

2018: Appeared in ten games for the Hounds during his freshman campaign, making nine starts... posted a 4-4 record in 52.2 innings of work, striking out 38 batters to go with a 6.84 ERA... Earned his first collegiate win in a 7-1 win over Concordia, throwing 7.0 innings while allowing just one run and striking out five batters... Pitched 7.1 innings, allowed two unearned runs and struck out four batters, picking up the win over Saint Rose... In his final start of the season, pitched 8.2 innings and struck out seven batters, surrendering four runs against the eventual NE10 Champion Merrimack.

Prior to Assumption: Attended Oxford High School where he played baseball and basketball… Named All-State his junior and senior year… Named All-Conference his junior and senior year… CO Sports Academy Suburban Baseball Player of the Year… All-Division in basketball his junior and senior year… All-Time wins leader in baseball with 21… All-Time strikeout leader with 210 and finished basketball career with 1,192 points.

Personal: Son of Kenneth and Doreen Chudoba… Has on brother, Kyle who also competed on the Assumption baseball team.
