Mullaney Named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week

STORRS, CT (April 19) – Tracy Mullaney (Cockeysville, MD) of the University of Connecticut women’s lacrosse team was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon by the league office. This is the first weekly honor for the Huskies this season.
Mullaney led the Huskies to two wins, registering 10 points and five draw controls. She scored six goals and had one assist in Connecticut’s 21-10 win over Virginia Tech. In a 14-4 victory over instate rival Quinnipiac, she tallied two goals and one assist.
The Huskies will take to the field against Boston University on Wednesday night at 7:00 pm at Morrone Stadium in Storrs.
