2014 Fall Schedule
STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut women's lacrosse team released its fall schedule on Friday, announcing six days of games that will take place over the next two months.
The Huskies will open their slate of fall games on Sept. 12 with the Alumni Game at 7 p.m. at the George J. Sherman-Family Sports Complex on the UConn campus, where Connecticut went 5-3 last year.
UConn hosts Fairfield on Sept. 20 in a scrimmage set for 3 p.m., and on Sept. 28 the Huskies will once again participate in the Melting Pot at Harvard. Last season, Connecticut defeated Fairfield, 8-7, as midfielder Katherine Finkelston (Leonardtown, Md.) tallied the game-winner and finished the game with two goals.
Three play days round out the remainder of the Huskies' fall schedule, starting on Oct. 4 when they travel to Yale to take on the Bulldogs. UConn's final two play days are both on the road, as Connecticut squares off against Boston College on Oct. 11 before concluding fall play at Manhasset High School in Long Island on Oct. 18.
