Finkelston Grabs Fourth Weekly Honor

NEW YORK -- Senior Katherine Finkelston (Leondardtown, Md.) earned Big East weekly honors for the fourth time this season as announced by the conference Tuesday for her performance against No. 4 Syracuse and Cincinnati this past week.
Finkelston was named Attacker of the Week for the fourth time this season after putting up six goals in Saturday's 17-6 win against Cincinnati. She also put up one goal against fourth ranked Syracuse last Tuesday.
Saturday's win against Cincinnati marked the second time this season in which Finkelston tallied six goals in a single contest. The first time was in UConn's regular season opener when the Huskies shut out Quinnipiac 21-0 at the George J. Sherman Family Sports Complex.
Finkelston is ranked sixth nationally with 3.80 goals per game. She currently leads the team with 38 goals and four assists for a total 42 points.

The Huskies will play their third conference match-up, the first on the road, when they take on Marquette Saturday, April 9 at 12 p.m. at Valley Fields in Milwaukee.
