UConn Closes Out Regular Season with New Hampshire

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn women's ice hockey team closes out the regular season with a two-game home stand against New Hampshire, beginning Friday, Feb. 18 at the Mark Edward Freitas Ice Forum.
Fans are encouraged to wear their white UConn gear to Friday's matchup with the Wildcats as part of UConn's White Out Week.
UConn's three seniors, Kelly Harris (Canton, Mich.), Lexi Lersch (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) and Jessica Stott (Niverville, Manitoba) will be recognized prior to Saturday's 2 p.m. puck-drop.

The Huskies (14-14-4, 9-11-2 WHEA) are coming off a 1-1 weekend on the road at Maine. After UConn brought down Maine 2-1 on Friday, the Black Bears shutout the Huskies 1-0 in game two Saturday. Sophomore Rebecca Lindblad (Winnetka, Ill.) scored both of UConn's goals in the series with Maine, doubling her goal total for the season.

New Hampshire is currently riding a three-game losing skid and is 0-4-1 of its last five contests. Most recently, the Wildcats dropped back-to-back decisions to Boston University.

The Wildcats were only outscored 9-5 in the two games against the Terriers. Mary-Jo Pelletier and Amy Schlagel each grabbed a pair of goals for the Wildcats.
