STORRS, Conn. - The Huskies return home to the George J. Sherman Family Sports on Saturday, April 8 when they welcome Butler for UConn's Breast Cancer Awareness game at 1 p.m. Fans, be sure to wear pink to show your support and help raise awareness.
UConn (3-8, 0-4 Big East) is riding a four-game losing skid since the start of conference play after dropping back-to-back decisions on the road to No. 14 Denver and Vanderbilt.
Most recently against the Commodores, UConn was overcome in the second half and fell to Vanderbilt 16-8 on the road. Junior Grace Nolan (Marcellus, N.Y.) had a hat trick against the Commodores and is now just three goals away from hitting the 100-career goal milestone.

Saturday will be the first meeting between the Huskies and the Bulldogs since Butler added lacrosse as a sport for the 2017 season.

The Series: First Meeting
This is Butler's inaugural season with a women's lacrosse program. The Bulldogs are 1-11 this year with the team's only win coming against Gardner-Webb on March 8.

Since their win over Gardner-Webb, the Bulldogs are on a six-game losing run and are 0-4 in conference play after losses to Georgetown, Vanderbilt, Cincinnati and Denver. Most recently against the Pioneers, Butler was held scoreless by Denver in the first half, but was able to net three goals in the second half to put the final at 20-3.
