WHOC Continues Hockey East Action vs. BU, at Merrimack

STORRS, Conn. – UConn women's hockey continues league play, gearing up for a pair of Hockey East tilts this weekend against BU and Merrimack. The Huskies host the Terriers Friday night at 6 pm and travel up the road to Massachusetts Saturday afternoon for a 4:00 showdown against the Warriors.

What to Know:
- The Huskies went 1-1 over the weekend, falling 2-0 to UNH Friday before bouncing back with a 2-0 shutout of Holy Cross. Morgan Wabick and Savannah Bouzide tallied UConn's goals, while Viki Harkness, Amy Landry and Camryn Wong provided the assists.
- The Huskies are 11-26-7 all-time against the Terriers. BU took last year's season series, 2-0-1. UConn is 6-4-2 all-time against the Warriors but dropped last year's series, 2-0-1.
- BU enters Friday with a record of 1-1-1. The Terriers went 0-2 over the weekend, battling Merrimack to a 2-2 draw before suffering a 4-2 setback at New Hampshire.

Leading the Pack:
Chris MacKenzie enters his eighth season leading the UConn women's hockey team. MacKenzie has won over 100 games during his time at UConn and has been an instrumental part in turning the program around. In 2015-16, Mackenzie coached UConn to their first winning season since 2010.
