WHOC Set to Host No. 5/6 Boston College

STORRS, Conn. – UConn women's hockey jumps back into Hockey East action this weekend, as the Huskies get set to host the fifth-ranked Boston College Eagles Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
Hockey East has partnered with CBS Sports Digital to begin the 2019-20 season, making all home men's and women's games available on CBS Sports Digital properties. The partnership kicks off with an early-season schedule that includes games provided for free on CBS SportsLive.

What to Know:
- The Huskies (5-4) enter the weekend fresh off a 7-0 win over Brown Tuesday night. Six different Huskies found the back of the net, led by junior Natalie Snodgrass who tallied two goals to go along with three assists.
- Five players have tallied six points for UConn. Snodgrass paces the team with 11 points (4g, 7a) while senior captain Catherine Crawley has dished out seven assists to go along with two scores of her own.
- Three goaltenders have seen action for UConn, with Morgan Fisher and Samantha Carpentier-Yelle splitting time patrolling the net. Carpentier-Yelle is 4-1 in five starts and leads the team with a 1.21 goals-against average and a .934 save percentage.
- Boston College owns a 36-15-10 mark in the all-time series with UConn. The Eagles were 5-0 against the Huskies last season – BC swept the season series, 3-0, and then took the Hockey East Quarterfinal round, 2-0.
- Boston College (9-0-1) earned a pair of 5-2 wins last weekend, topping New Hampshire on Friday and Providence on Saturday.
Leading the Pack:
Chris MacKenzie enters his eighth season leading the UConn women's hockey team. MacKenzie has won over 100 games during his time at UConn and has been an instrumental part in turning the program around. In 2015-16, Mackenzie coached UConn to their first winning season since 2010.
