Women’s Hockey Set to Host BU on Senior Night

STORRS, Conn. – Playing in its final game of the 2018-19 regular season, UConn women's hockey is set to host Boston University on Friday night at 6 p.m. E.T.
Friday is also SENIOR NIGHT – Prior to puck drop, the Huskies will honors its senior class – Nora Maclaine, Rebecca Lindblad, Kayla Mee and Jaime Fox - for their contributions both on and off the ice. Come out and show your support!

Opponent and Series History…
- UConn trails 11-25-7 in the all-time series against BU.
- The Terriers lead this season's series, 1-0-1. UConn battled BU to a 1-1 tie back on Oct. 19, but dropped its most recent meeting (Nov. 9), 4-1.
- Boston University enters the weekend 18-6-8 after extending its unbeaten streak to 13 games (10-0-3). The Terriers went 2-0-1 through three games last week - they defeated Harvard in the championship game of the Beanpot Tournament, 3-2, in overtime to earn their first title since 1981, before playing New Hampshire to a 3-3 overtime draw on Saturday and skating to a 2-1 victory on Sunday.
- Jesse Compher leads the Terriers with 55 points and a team-high 38 assists. Sammy Davis leads BU in the scoring column, notching 23 goals on the year. Goaltender Corinne Schroeder has recorded a 1.88 GAA and a .932 save percentage in 27 games.
Last Time Out…
The Huskies picked up one point in a two-game road trip at Merrimack last weekend. They fell to the Warriors, 7-1, before playing to a 2-2 draw Saturday afternoon.
Leading the Pack…
Chris Mackenzie enters his sixth season as the coach of the Huskies. Mackenzie has been an instrumental part in turning the program around and in 2015-16, Mackenzie coached UConn to their first winning season since 2010.
