The Huskies broke into the Top-25 rankings for the first time this season after a 4-1 week, which featured a road series win at UCF. UConn has won 13 of 17 to move its record to 17-9.
UConn is 2-0 at home after winning a pair of midweek contests last week against Hartford (12-4) and Boston College (3-1).
UConn is 60-14-1 against Fairfield in a series that dates back to 1973. The Huskies and Stags last played in 2017 after last season's game was cancelled due to weather. The Huskies won 6-1 to notch their 12th-straight win against the Stags. Conor Moriarty had three hits and three RBIs.

UMass Lowell is 6-19 overall and 3-3 in the America East this season and just dropped a series at home against Hartford.
