Huskies Face No. 5 Georgetown in Early-Season Test

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's soccer team heads to the nation's capital for arguably its toughest match of the season, as the Huskies get set to face the fifth-ranked Georgetown Hoyas in a Saturday afternoon tilt at Shaw Field. Kickoff is scheduled for a 1:00 pm start time.

What to Know:
- UConn is ranked 28th in the CollegeSoccerNews Top-30 poll and also receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 poll.
- Senior transfer Jordan Hall has scored all six of UConn's goals this season, with five coming off assists from classmate Dayonn Harris. Hall is tied for the lead in total goals (6) while Harris ranks second with five assists, respectively, through the first two weeks of the season.
- The Huskies own a 14-10-4 mark in the all-time series against Georgetown. The former (and now future) Big East foes last met on Oct. 3, 2012 – a 2-1 UConn victory.
- The No. 5 Hoyas enter Saturday's contest with a record of 4-0, and have outscored their opponents 12-2.

Ray Reid leads the Huskies in his 23rd season as the head coach. A four-time National Coach of the Year and National Champion, Reid boasts the second-highest winning percentage (.742) among active coaches.

No. 28 UConn men's soccer was blanked by Yale, 3-0, Wednesday night at Reese Stadium.
Seniors Dayonn Harris and Jordan Hall paced the Husky offense with three shots apiece, sophomore Felix Metzler chipped in two attempts of his own, while Blaise NGague and Ibrahima Diop each fired one shot each, respectively. Sophomore goalkeeper collected three saves in the losing effort.
