WSOC Wraps Up Non-Conference Play on Saturday

LOWELL, Mass. - The UConn women's soccer team (3-3-1) closes out non-conference action with a Saturday night match against the River Hawks of UMass Lowell. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
The Huskies are coming off a tough defeat to Harvard on Sunday, 3-1, it was the first loss UConn has experienced at home this season moving its home record to 3-1.
UConn is seeking its first win away from home this season (0-2-1) against a UMass Lowell squad that is 1-5-1 in 2019.
The Huskies are led by Kess Elmore with three goals this season but eight other UConn players have contributed a goal.Â
Saturday's match up will be the first-ever meeting betweent the two programs on the pitch.Â
UConn begins The American Conference portion of its schedule next Thursday, September 26 against ECU at 7 p.m. at Dillon Stadium.
