Huskies Host Houston on Senior Night

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's basketball team, which has won three straight games and four of its last five, plays its final home game of the 2019-2020 regular season, celebrating Senior Night against nationally-ranked and conference- leading Houston at Gampel Pavilion. The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. tipoff and will be televised by CBS Sports Network.

What to Know
- Houston leads the all-time series 9-5. The Cougars currently own a four-game winning streak over UConn, including a 63-59 win in Houston earlier this season.
- UConn (17-12 overall, 8-8 American) is coming off an 84-63 road win at East Carolina on Saturday.
- The Huskies are led in scoring (15.6), rebounding (6.4) and steals (2.6) by senior guard Christian Vital, while freshman James Bouknight is also averaging in double figures (13.0). Redshirt junior Alterique Gilbert leads the team in assists (3.8).

Leading the Pack
Dan Hurley begins his second season as head coach of the UConn men's basketball team. Hurley became the 19th head coach in the history of UConn men's basketball on March 22, 2018. Prior to his hiring, he spent two seasons at Wagner College and six at the University of Rhode Island and owns a collegiate coaching record of 167- 122 (.578). Hurley made two consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances (2016-17, 2017-18) and was named the 2017-18 Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year.
