Tia Chan Shines as WHOC Falls to No. 8 BC in OT, 2-1

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The UConn women's hockey team dropped a tough one on the road in overtime against No.8 Boston College, 2-1.
Freshman goaltender Tia Chan was outstanding on Saturday with a career-high 40 saves against the Eagles.
The Huskies lead 1-0 after Viki Harkness scored her third goal of the season at the 14:58 mark in the first period. Savannah Bouzide dropped off a pass to Harkness on an three-on-two breakout that Harkness finished top shelf to give UConn the lead.
Harkness has now scored five of her 13 career goals against Boston College.
The Huskies led 1-0 until late in the third period where the Eagles were able to capitalize on a rebound attempt that Hannah Bilka was able to score on.
The Eagles were able to score in overtime to take two points while UConn settles for one with the overtime loss.
