WHOC Falls at No. 4 Northeastern, 2-0

BOSTON - The UConn women's hockey team (5-7-1) lost a tough fought game, 2-0, at No. 4 Northeastern on Tuesday night at Matthews Arena.
Sam Carpentier-Yelle made 29 saves in net and the Huskies blocked 27 shots to hold a potent Northeastern offense to two goals.
Northeastern jumped on the board midway through the first period after the Huskies were able to kill off their first penalty of the night.
The Boston Huskies added to the lead in the second period at the 3:27 mark in the frame but after the goal UConn was able to apply pressure offensively and get quality chances.
Savannah Bouzide led the way with three shots for the Huskies.
Up next, UConn is not scheduled to play this weekend. Stay tuned for any schedule changes or the Huskies will await next Tuesday's schedule release from Hockey East for the following weekend.
