WHOC Resume Season at Home vs. Catamounts

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn women's hockey team (3-3-1) return from the Holiday break with a pair of home games against the University of Vermont beginning on Friday, January 8 at 6 p.m. followed by the series finale on Saturday, January 9 at 3 p.m. at the Mark Freitas Ice Forum.
The Huskies closed 2020 with three-straight wins including a sweep of Merrimack where the Huskies outscored the Warriors, 9-0, in the two-game series.Â
Three Huskies scored their first career goals in the series (Habisch, Stockdale & Boyer) while Viki Harkness totaled one goal and four assists.
UConn went 1-1-1 against Vermont last season that included a 2-2 tie in the lone meeting in Storrs. The Catamounts are 3-1 on the season and are coming off a series sweep of Holy Cross.Â
UConn and Vermont were originally scheduled to play on Nov. 20-21 to open the season but the series was postponed due to Vermont shutting down sports until mid-December.
