The second set continued the alternating pace until junior Jasmine Davis drilled a ball back over the net to spark a 9-4 streak and give UConn breathing room, 17-13. With the score tied at 18-all, Davis stayed a spark plug as she started a 7-2 run down the stretch to make it 2-0 Huskies.
Leading 24-22 in the third set, DePaul battled back to to hold the advantage, 25-24. Parker evened the score before a Blue Demon attacking error swung the advantage back to the Huskies, but DePaul took the next two points to swing the scoreboard around again.
