Women's Lacrosse Releases 2022 Schedule

STORRS, Conn. – With the new year readily approaching, the UConn women's lacrosse team has unveiled its 2022 schedule, head coach Katie Woods announced Wednesday.
The 2022 schedule slates 16 regular season games, with eight of those taking place at Joseph Morrone Stadium. UConn will start its postseason run in May as Denver hosts the BIG EAST Tournament May 5-7, and the NCAA Tournament starts right after on May 13.
UConn will commence its 26th season of competition on Feb. 16 at Fairfield and remain on the road as it visits historic Tierney Field at the USA Lacrosse headquarters for a matchup against national powerhouse James Madison on Feb. 19. The Huskies will return home to host UMass Lowell on Feb. 25 for its Joseph J. Morrone Stadium opener.
The BIG EAST portion of UConn's schedule starts with a home matchup against Marquette on April 2. UConn, who reached the BIG EAST Tournament championship game last season, will seek its first conference title in Denver and look to punch its ticket to the NCAA Tournament for the second straight season.
