WSOC Hosts Villanova Thursday Afternoon

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's soccer team (5-2-1, 3-2-1 BE) will host the Villanova Wildcats (2-6-2, 1-3-2 BE) on Thursday afternoon. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00pm at Morrone Stadium.

Last Time Out

The Huskies enter Thursday coming off of an important Big East victory over Providence College on Sunday, March 21^st. Freshman Jaydah Bedoya opened the scoring in the 70^th minute with her first career goal. Senior Yamilee Eveillard scored her third of the season to double the UConn lead in the 84^th minute and seal the victory for the Huskies. Redshirt senior goalkeeper Randi Palacios recorded her sixth clean sheet after making six saves, including a penalty kick, moments after Eveillard's goal.
