Last Time Out…
UConn men's soccer team fell short in its return to the pitch, dropping a 1-0 decision to St. John's March 20 at Morrone Stadium.
UConn's offense came out aggressive early and put themselves in great position to breakthrough for the game's first goal in the 21' after Moussa Wade drew a penalty kick following a St. John's foul in the box. Wade lined up his shot and tried to sneak one into the bottom right corner but the ball was deflected away by Luka Gavran…Okem Chime crashed the net and collected the rebound, but the Huskies would be denied again as his shot was also scooped up.
The Huskies recorded shots in the 51st, 66th, and 78th minute as they searched for the equalizer, but the attempts from Chime, Sosa Emovan, and Ahdan Tait were saved by the Red Storm netminder.
