Critical Series At Elliot Begins Thursday

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn baseball team finishes the regular season with a critical four-game series vs. second place Seton Hall beginning on Thursday at 6 p.m.
The Huskies enter the series at 9-4 in the BIG EAST Conference and still have a glimmer of hope to win the regular season conference crown.
The Huskies will have the opportunity to play in front of their home faithful with Elliot Ballpark being opened up to full capacity for the series.
Fans interested in attending should follow THIS LINK for ticket information and are encouraged to claim tickets online in advance of the games. Tickets claimed online will be sent to the patron via mobile ticket delivery. If fans need an alternative option, please call the UConn Ticket Office at 877-288-2666.
All tickets will be free of charge and fans can either select a reserved seat in the stands of Elliot Ballpark, or a general admission seat on the hill along the first baseline. Fans who select general admission seats will be allowed to bring lawn chairs and blankets inside Elliot Ballpark.
With the Huskies playing Thursday's game against the Pirates, they will have played 14 BIG EAST games and will have qualified for the four-team, double elimination conference tournament next week in Mason, Ohio.
UConn renews its old rivalry with Seton Hall and hold a 28-38 all-time record against the Pirates with the last meeting coming in 2017. Seton Hall makes its first trip to Storrs since 20212.
Seton Hall is 23-19 overall with a 16-7 BIG EAST record. Its pitching staff features a conference-best 3.77 ERA and lead the league with 70 stolen bases.
Prior to Friday's doubleheader the Huskies will honor 16 student-athletes for Senior Day in honor of all 16 getting their degrees. The ceremony will begin at 11:40 AM.Â
