Emily Reid Signs Pro Deal With EHV Sabres

STORRS, Conn. - UConn graduate and two-time assistant captain Emily Reid has signed a professional contract with EHV Sabres in the European Women's Hockey League (EWHL).
The Whitby, Ontario just wrapped up her career with the Huskies, playing in 132 career games as a defenseman for UConn.
In her time in Storrs, Reid scored five goals and added 17 assists while providing significant leadership for the UConn program. During her tenure, the fifth year senior helped the Huskies reach two Hockey East Championship games.
The European Women's Hockey League or EWHL, called the Elite Women's Hockey League during 2004 to 2019, is an international league for top women's hockeyy clubs. Created in 2004 by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), the EWHL comprises clubs from several countries in Central Europe and one team from Kazakhstan
