Huskies to Host La Salle Thursday

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's soccer team (1-0-0) takes on La Salle (0-1-0) on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Morrone Stadium.
The Huskies opened the season with a 2-1 win over CCSU last Saturday. Senior Duda Santin finished with one goal and one assist while sophomore Jada Konte also scored a goal.
Santin was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for her performance against the Blue Devils.
UConn is 1-0-0 all-time vs. La Salle. The teams' only previous meeting was a 1-0 UConn win on Sept. 19, 2013.
La Salle opened the season with a 4-0 loss to No. 10 Penn State. The Explorers were picked sixth in the preseason Atlantic 10 poll.
