Dembrowski Scores Twice in 5-3 Loss vs. No. 16 Cuse

STORRS, Conn. - The No. 12 UConn field hockey team (2-4) lost 5-3 against No. 16 Syracuse on Sunday afternoon at the Sherman Family Sports Complex.
The Huskies scored all three of their on penalty corners including a pair from senior Jessica Dembrowski.
Both goals from Dembrowski came in the fourth quarter on tip in opportunities. For the senior, it was her first two goals of the season.Â
Claire Jandewerth tallied her first goal of the season to begin the second quarter to even up the game at 1-1.
Cheyenne Sprecher totaled 10 saves in the loss.Â
Next up, the Huskies will open BIG EAST play against Old Dominion on Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Sherman Family Sports Complex
