UConn Travels to DePaul for Big East Tilt

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's soccer team (4-2, 0-1 Big East) will travel to Chicago, Illinois to take on DePaul (4-2, 0-0 Big East) on Saturday, September 25th. Kickoff is slated for 2:00pm ET at Wish Field.

The Huskies are coming off another shutout home win after defeating Dartmouth 1-0 on Tuesday night at Morrone Stadium. Sophomore Moussa Wade's 8th minute goal was enough to give UConn the victory. Fellow sophomore Jayden Reid picked up his fourth assist of the season on Wade's goal. Graduate student goalkeeper Jahmali Waite made one save to earn his fourth clean sheet of the season.
Scouting the Blue Demons
The Blue Demons enter Saturday's game after a 3-1 win over Oakland last Saturday. DePaul is 2-2 at home so far this season, with losses against Loyola Maryland (2-1) and UIC (1-0). Jack Richards leads the Blue Demons with four goals and one assist for nine points this season, while Marek Gonda has tallied three goals and an assist for seven points. Twelve players have recorded a point through six games so far this season.
