Huskies Prepare For Home and Home Series With Boston College

STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut women's hockey team returns to action this weekend as the prepare for a home and home series with Boston College. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 14 at Freitas Ice Forum in Storrs. Puck drop for Saturday's game is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at Conte Forum in Chestnut Hill Mass.
The Huskies return to the ice following a weekend split with the University of Vermont. Graduate student Morgan Wabick led the way for the Huskies notching three goals and one assist in two games. In addition, graduate student Summer-Rae Dobson added two points over the weekend officially reaching 100 career points. Following the weekend split the Huskies improve to 15-5-2 overall and 9-4-2 in Hockey East action.
Scouting The Eagles
Boston College enters the home and home series with the Huskies with a 10-8 overall record and an 8-5 record in conference play. The Eagles are led by junior Hannah Bilka who has seven goals and eight assists in 15 games played. Boston College will be returning to action for the first time since December 10 due to postponements of their last three games.

Following the weekend series vs. Boston College the Huskies will welcome the University of New Hampshire for a two-game series in Storrs, Connecticut beginning January 21. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 21.
