Women's Lacrosse Releases 2023 Schedule

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn Women's Lacrosse team announced their 2023 schedule on Friday morning. The Huskies have nine home games on the Storrs campus and one home game versus James Madison University at the US Lacrosse Facility in Sparks, MD.
Information on season tickets and single-game tickets will become available in the coming weeks.
UConn is coming off a 13-5 season, earning an NCAA at-large bid for the second year in a row in 2022. The Huskies scored 283 goals last season, with 114 assists.
The Huskies kick off the season with an exhibition game against Brown University on February 9th at 5:00pm. They open their regular season on February 15th versus Fairfield at 2:00pm. The non-conference schedule also includes, Yale University, University of New Hampshire, and Hofstra University, among others.
UConn will travel to BIG EAST conference opponents Villanova University in Villanova, PA; Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI; and Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. They will host University of Denver, Georgetown University, and Xavier University. UConn's BIG EAST schedule is slated for the month of April.
The Huskies will return 14 seniors this year, including five graduate students. UConn veteran goalkeeper and BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Year in 2022, Landyn White, is among the graduate students returning to campus for another season. She was recently named one of three Captains for the squad. Also returning for the 2023 season are All-BIG EAST Second Team players Grace Coon, Kate Shaffer, and 2023 Captian Madelyn George.
The BIG EAST Championship will return to Joseph J. Morrone Stadium, which is scheduled to begin on Friday, May 5th to Sunday, May 7th.
