Huskies Set to Face #15 Boston College

STORRS, Conn. – The University of Connecticut women's ice hockey team prepares for a home and home series against Boston College on November 4 and November 5 in a Hockey East matchup. The Huskies host game one at Freitas Ice Forum on Friday at 6 PM and then travel on Saturday for game two to Chestnut Hill, MA. Â
UConn enters the matchup 6-4-2 overall and 2-4-2 in Hockey East play. The Huskies are coming off a split weekend series against the University of Maine. Goaltender Tia Chan was a force to be reckoned with as she highlighted last weekend totaling 80 saves and only allowing one goal in the series. Meanwhile, Senior captain, Coryn Tormala scored her fourth goal of the season to help the Huskies come away with a 2-0 victory.Â

Boston College come into this matchup posting a 6-3-1 overall record and a 5-1-0 record in Hockey East action. Boston College is currently ranked No. 15 in the country, and they are coming off a split weekend series last week against the University of Vermont. The Eagles are led by Hannah Bilka with eight goals, four assists, and 17 points.Â
