#14 UConn Set to Face New Hampshire

Storrs, Conn. - The University of Connecticut women's ice hockey team prepares for a two-game series road trip in Durham, NH to face New Hampshire. The Huskies will play on Friday, Dec. 2 and Saturday, Dec. 3.
Heading into the matchup, UConn is 11-7-2 overall and 6-6-2 in Hockey East action. Last weekend, the Huskies fell to Quinnipiac in the Nutmeg Classic Championship by a nail-biting 1-0 setback. Despite the loss, UConn is currently ranked No. 14 in the national poll. Leading the way are Jada Habisch and Coryn Tormala as they combine for 12 goals, 13 assists, and 25 total points. Goaltender Tia Chan also has 419 saves in the season.
Scouting the Wildcats
The University of New Hampshire (UNH) heads into the matchup with a 5-13-0 overall record and a 4-10-0 conference record. In their last game, the Wildcats lost to Harvard 1-0. Taking charge for UNH is Emily Pinto as she has posted 10 assists, 13 points, and three goals. Goaltender Ava Boutilier also has 274 saves this season.
