MSOC faces NJIT on Friday

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's soccer team (1-1) is set for an out of conference match up with the NJIT Highlanders (1-0-1) at Morrone Stadium Friday at 7:00pm.
The Huskies are coming off their first win of the season over Holy Cross last Sunday. Moussa Wade and Frantz Pierrot both got on the score sheet with their first goals of the season to push UConn past Holy Cross. True Freshman goalkeeper, Jayden Hibbert has started both games in net for the Huskies to start the season. Hibbert got his first collegiate shutout against the Crusaders Sunday.
NJIT are coming into Friday's game having won their last game at James Madison 1-0. This will be the first matchup all time between the two programs.
