Huskies Picked 6th In Hockey East Preseason Coaches Poll

STORRS, Conn. – The Hockey East Association announced the 2022-23 Preseason Coaches' Poll Tuesday afternoon with the UConn Huskies picked to finish sixth by the leagues head coaches.
Last season UConn was picked to tabbed to finish fourth in the preseason poll and finished third in the final standings. The Huskies had one of their most successful seasons to date during the 2021-22 season, finishing with a 24-9-4 overall record, and a 16-7-4 record in Hockey East. The Huskies also broke into the National Rankings multiple times during the 21-22 season.

The 2022-23 season will get underway September 23 as the Huskies will welcome RIT to Mark Edwards Freitas Ice Forum for a two-game series. UConn will begin Hockey East action October 7 as they travel to Boston Massachusetts for a rematch of the 21-22 Hockey East Championship game vs. Northeastern.,
