OMAHA - The UConn women's soccer team (4-2-1) open BIG EAST conference play with a trip to Creighton and St. John's.
The Huskies will face the Bluejays on Thursday, September 22 at 7:30 p.m. ET and then head to NYC to face the Red Storm on Sunday, September 25 at 1 p.m.
UConn enters the weekend with back-to-back wins to close out the non-conference slate of the schedule.
The Huskies came into the season picked sixth in the preseason in the BIG EAST coaches poll.
UConn is 1-0 all-time against Creighton with a thrilling 3-2 victory in double overtime last season in Storrs. Jaydah Bedoya scored the game-tying goal with 15 ticks left in regulation. Evelyn Aresenault scored the game-winner in the 104th minute.
Creighton is 4-0-4 this season and rank second in the league with only five goals allowed and a 0.62 goals against average.
