No. 9 FH Falls 4-0 to No. 16 Liberty

STORRS, Conn. - The No. 9 UConn field hockey team (6-2, 1-1 BIG EAST) had its four-game win streak snapped with a 4-0 loss against No. 16 Liberty on Friday afternoon at the George Sherman Sports Complex.
The Flames broke through just 4:07 into the match and tacked on a pair of goals in the second quarter and at the end of third quarter.
Julia Bressler, Claire Jandewerth and McKenna Sergi led the UConn attack with two shots apiece.
Cheyenne Sprecher made eight saves in the loss.
The Huskies have now lost four-straight to the Flames.
Next up, the Huskies head on the road for a Friday, September 30 at 4 p.m. at Providence. The Huskies next home match comes next Sunday, Oct. 2 at 12 p.m. against Princeton.
